To ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for everyone and to protect the priceless collection and grounds, we ask all visitors to adhere to the following rules. Key Visitor Policies
Please respect these guidelines during your visit
Photography & Filming
Personal photography is welcome, but flash is not permitted inside the Palace. Tripods and selfie sticks are also not allowed indoors. Drones are strictly prohibited anywhere on the estate.
Bags & Luggage
Only small bags may be taken into the Palace. Lockers are available near the shop for larger items for a fee. For security, bag searches may be in operation.
Dogs
Dogs on leads are welcome to enjoy the Parkland. However, they are not permitted in the Palace, Formal Gardens, Walled Garden, or on the miniature train (assistance dogs excepted).
Bikes & Scooters
The use of bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and similar equipment is not permitted within the main visitor areas. Cycle racks are provided for those arriving by bike.
